Diane Razzaia is the lead teacher in the Woodmont United Church or Christ's Nursery.  After studying education at Sacred Heart University, Diane became a special education teacher and later ran a residential day program.  

 

Currently, she works as a private special education teacher and is the leader of her granddaughter's Girl Scout Troop. Active for more than 40 years as both a leader and a coordinator, she also involved in the community as co-chair of Connecticut's Haunted Hike.

 

The United Way of Milford recognized Diane in 2016 awarding her the "The Nurturing Children Award" for her service to the community.  Diane has developed a curriculum for our nursery school that emphasizes choices and structure integrating story time, crafts, snack, and music and movement.
