Outdoor Worship

20200830_110702.jpg

There are no future outdoor services planned.
We will be gathering indoors starting 7/11.

The in-person worship service on the lawn of our church will take place at our regular worship time, 10:30am.

This will be held in addition to our online service that we have been providing on YouTube.

The service will last approximately 40-50 minutes, and there will be no “Coffee Hour.”

We are taking every feasible precaution to assure the health and safety of all worship participants,

our dear church family. Please be sure to follow these protocols:

Outdoor Worship Protocols

If you have any symptoms of COVID-19, for the good of yourself and others, please remain home.

According to the CDC, symptoms may include fever, cough, congestion, shortness of breath, body aches,

headache, loss of taste/smell, sore throat, nausea, or diarrhea.

If you are in a high-risk category (older adults or those with underlying medical conditions), we urge you to consider worshipping remotely.

Please bring and wear your mask (cloth face covering)! All worshippers, except children under 2 years old,

must wear a mask. If you cannot wear a mask, consider attending our online worship.

Please bring a folding/lawn chair. If it is a sunny day, you may wish to use sunblock and bring an umbrella for shade.

Worshippers will be seated observing physical distancing of six feet; family groups will be seated together and six feet from others.

Bulletins will be available on a table for you to pick up. They will not be handed out.

Offering plates will remain on the Welcome Table for you to place your offering.

Bathrooms will be unavailable (except in case of emergency), and the building will have strictly limited access to Deacons and musicians (persons setting up for the service).

There will be no Fellowship Time, Children’s Message, or physical passing the peace.

Music will be provided, with singers spaced apart from the congregation (and each other).

There will be no congregational singing together (aerosolizes the virus). We can hum quietly with our masks on.

Following worship, please DO NOT assist in taking down the worship space. Persons are designated to do these tasks. Additional hands on the worship items increases the chance of the spread of infection.

If the service is canceled due to inclement weather, notice will be given after 8am via:

We hope that you are able to join us, but if you cannot, it is certainly understandable.

Each of us has a personal responsibility to do what we must to keep ourselves and each other safe and healthy.

If you cannot attend, please be sure to “tune in” to our online worship service at 10:30, and our Coffee Hour on Zoom.
